Aroa are the contracted EP Service for a number of schools, nurseries and Multi-Academy Trusts across the North West, providing assessments, consultations, training, staff support and family support.

At Aroa, we provide a dedicated EP to form part of your school team to work collaboratively with your staff and families to bring positive change for children.

Our administrative team are on hand to schedule dates and times across the year via Service Level Agreements tailored to the needs of your community. We also understand that things are not always predictable and due to our working relationship, we are also able to respond to unforeseen circumstances, providing additional days, emergency assessments and attendance at reviews.

We aim to become an integral part of your team in the way which is important to you.

I have founds Dr. Short fully committed to working with our children in school . She is thorough in her job making sure she spends time with parents, class teacher, myself as SENCO as well as the child to gather as much information as possible. She has a lovely manner which puts both adults as well as children at their ease. I am also regularly attended our parent support and signposting she has give me over the past 2 years, either by a quick phone call or email.

Leanne has provided us with exceptional work which has included a range of assessments followed by prompt accurate reports for children of all year groups - reception to Y6. Follow up reviews and meeting with parents have always been beneficial and supportive to the child involved, parents and staff. Aroa and Aroa EPs have also regularly attended our parent support meetings for children with a diagnosis of ASD (or one pending) and offered advice and practical strategies.
